From the Pappas vineyard and Blown Away vineyards on Plains Road, and the Prime vineyard on Tatachilla Road. Perfumed, floral and medium bodied, balanced and long, this Grenache is a pure expression of these three vineyards, with no additions and matured in old French barriques. It’s our Archetype. In 2017 Jancis Robinson said of this wine: "Immediately appealing! Fine tannins. Real energy and lift. Grenache at its best? Almost irresistible combination of sweetness and transparency." 17.5/20.
