Wine Notes

Description: From the Sandy Corner Block of the Wait Vineyard in Blewitt Springs, planted 1943. Picked on the 16th of March 2020, and 1.4t were harvested. Crushed and destemmed, fermented in two small 1t open fermenters, and matured in old Hungarian oak hogsheads (my fave – love the Hungarians). Similar to the Old Vine Grenache I just stay out of the way. An expression of the Sandy Corner Block in 2020 and nothing more. Artwork by Adam Harriden – ‘Keel Trim’.
